my mini-rant....those who read the books are NOT the type who would be interested in vampire novels in the first place. It's not dark enough to be a genuine vamp story. robert pattison looks like a heroin addict. It's a story of ';omg! I love this hot guy! but he can kill me! waah! lovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove鈥?oh look! he loves me too! W00t!';. absolutely no substance. made for preppy tweens

There are better books, and worse books. At least the kids are reading, and that's a good thing.
