What do you think about guys who are Pro-Life and rant about abortion?

What do you think about guys who act like they're so strongly pro-life? It just annoys me when I see guys who haven't the slightest idea of what its like to be pregnant and have never had to make such a decision rant about how wrong abortion is. I just think if they are going to tell me what to do with my uterus they should grow one first. And guys who are pro-life, explain why you think you are in the position to tell women what's wrong or right when it comes to their own bodies?


Anyway, I had to make such a decision before when I was a 15 and became pregnant. I ended up not getting the abortion I had scheduled and had fraternal twins, a boy and a girl. My son and daughter are 16 now and are such beautiful smart kids who I have a very very close relationship with, but I'm still pro-choice.What do you think about guys who are Pro-Life and rant about abortion?
It's nice to know that if I ever need a kidney transplant and any of these men are compatible donors, they've all tacitly given their consent to donate a kidney for me (without my even needing to ask!), because they think that one person's life is more important than another person's legal right to decide what happens to his body.What do you think about guys who are Pro-Life and rant about abortion?
I feel nothing. Probably how you feel about pro-choice women ranting about pro-life men.





So we have no say in the matter because we haven't been pregnant? By the same exact logic, you have no say in the matter because you haven't been aborted.





Oddly enough, the very very few women who survived being aborted and have kids of their own (the only people, using your logic, that have a say in the matter) are all pro-life.
I'm pro-life, but I hate it when anyone rants about anything. I mean, opinions are opinions - they're personal and you don't need to share your views with everyone all the time. Plus, there is nothing more unattractive or annoying than a person who feels it is their duty to make you think EXACTLY as they do.





Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not everyone needs to hear it!
I'm married and have a young son. I've seen the ultrasounds, I've had to help my wife through miserable bouts of morning sickness, and while physically I don't know what it's like to be pregnant, I do know what it's like mentally for new parents who are expecting. I am pro-life because I believe terminating a pregnancy is terminating a life, which I view as murder.
I think your argument that men should essentially keep their mouths shut about abortion would hold water if only female fetuses were aborted.





Even then it still wouldn't. You cannot dismiss somebody's point of view simply because the subject doesn't directly affect them. By that reasoning straight people shouldn't have opinions on gay rights, whites shouldn't have opinions on minority rights, and better yet: sterile women shouldn't say anything about pregnancy or abortion.
I don't think it's an issue of gender. These people think of abortion as murder. That's not a gender-specific issue. I don't agree with their perspective, but I think turning it into a gender argument distracts from the subjects really at hand.





I'm more interested to know how many babies a pro-life ranter has adopted.
I think a lot of these people ( fanatical pro lifers ) have a lot of their own issues in life. But instead of them confronting them, they prefer to take out their self righteousness and judgments about the decisions of other people. I wouldn't take them seriously. They are tragics.
So then no woman should be allowed to protest a war, since they can't actually fight on the front lines, right?





A man wanting to voice his opinion is not a problem. A man or woman trying to take away someone else's right to make a choice is a problem.
I agree with your question. Or put another way...many women enjoy a penis, but does that give them the right to decide whether or not a guy should get circumcised? I don't think so. Unless it's the wife or girlfriend of said penis. Otherwise you are just going with the herd.

Half of all fetuses are male. Men have every right to contribute to the abortion debate as long as males are still being aborted.
They are as entitled to their opinion as women are.


I am pro choice. That is my opinion and no one can take that away from me, gender should not have an impact on their right to an opinion.
Being a man doesn't take their right away to believe that no life should be killed.
The way I see it, they have a right to look like an idiot.

ABORTION - In Catholic morality, abortion is either direct (induced) or indirect. Direct abortion is any destruction of the product of human conception, whether before or after implantation in the womb. A direct abortion is one that is intended either as an end in itself or as a means to an end. As a willful attack on unborn human life, no matter what the motive, direct abortion is always a grave objective evil.





Indirect abortion is the foreseen but merely permitted evacuation of a fetus which cannot survive outside the womb. The evacuation is not the intended or directly willed result, but the side effect, of some legitimate procedure. As such it is morally allowable.





The essential sinfulness of direct abortion consists in the homicidal intent to kill innocent life. This factor places the controverted question as to precisely when human life begins, outside the ambit of the moral issue; as it also makes the now commonly held Catholic position that human life begins at conception equally outside the heart of the church's teaching about the grave sinfulness of direct abortion.

I think they have MORALS. ANYONE EVEN GOD WOULD TELL YOU KILLING THE FRUIT OF THE WOMB IS EVIL. They're body is in yours, ITS NOT YOUR BODY ITS A SEPARATE HUMANS BODY. You should be horrified by thinking back to what you were about to do to your beautiful twins and how you would have been grieved your whole life if they weren't here now with you! In fact many WOMAN WHO HAVE HAD CHILDREN are PRO LIFE and many MEN are PRO CHOICE. We're all entitled to an opinion. I'm glad you didn't abort your children, and I think you are very immoral and a murderer in your heart. To think that you can kill an infant just because your nurturing them in you tummy is horrible and coldhearted. You make people who have hearts cry out.
