Agnostics and atheists, what do you think of my little rant?

I was on youtube, sick of everyone from all religions saying how terrible I am for not being religious (their religion). So I made a little rant...am I a jek? Should I calm down?





Religious people are funny. They all get together to diss on agnostics and atheists because they are godless and immoral. They all find common ground there - as if morals can't be taught by good parents, good books (To Kill a Mockingbird, Huckleberry Finn), and their own intelligent thinking about fairness and the world. Yet, you look at agnostic, educated, developed areas, and they are doing great. Then you look at religious people, and they are killing each other. Jews, Muslims, Christians, sects within religions - Shia, Sunni, Kurds, even tribes within sects. Then there's protestants who think Catholics aren't good Christians, and Catholics and Protestants both claim Mormons and Jews are going to hell, despite Jews being ';chosen people';, chosen by God to go to hell, that sounds fair. Sure godless people fight wars too, but they are most definitely ignorant about something. WAR REQUIRES SOME FORM OF IGNORANCE.





So before you religious people attack us agnostics for being immoral, shut up and finish your attacks on each other first. Leave the rest of us alone, you know were not going to bother you because we don't have an agenda, we just want to enjoy life before it ends. So finish using your 500 pound bombs, suicide bombs, and threats of atomic bombs on each other BEFORE pointing any fingers of immorality at us. Thanks.





I'm from Seattle, an area where mostly agnostic liberal scientists gather to share ideas, develop technology, and solve problems. Sorry I'm just sick of people claiming us non-religiously affiliated humans are ';f-tards'; for not being religious (when really they just mean, a religion other than their own).Agnostics and atheists, what do you think of my little rant?

you know nothing about 'religious people'. only two religions condemn non-believers, the rest of us don't really give a frak about you.
All of that can be summed up by just saying ';Religion is the opiate of the masses';
nah you make a good point, although im sure there will be some hellfire reigned down on this question a bit. Religion would be fine with me if it didnt cause so many problems.
I agree with you, we as independent minority are used as a lightning rod, when everything else between them fails


Now WE are the ''Antichrist''..and we are accused of killing babies (abortions, stem cell research)

You sir...are going to hell for this rant. Just kidding. The religious irritate me to no end as well. I have made it my mission in life to give each one a massive roundhouse kick. Sure, it's going to take me some time to get around to every delusional person out there, but I'm very motivated.
