Is there a shortcut to lock a samsung rant?

Is there a shortcut to lock a samsung rant so that i have to enter a password to unlock it? or can i set it up so that I have to enter the password every time it comes out of sleep?





I hate having to go through the menu and locking it...Is there a shortcut to lock a samsung rant?
you cant do that. i try mine and i still coudnt firgure it out, my phone only let me go to the setting menu and lock it. and you cant lock the text either :(Is there a shortcut to lock a samsung rant?
Okay! I know, go to settings. Then go to ';More...'; Once you are in ';More...'; go to 10. Restrict and Lock. It will tell you which one you want to lock. Press ';4.Lock My Phone';. You have to put in your pin code, which is the last 4 digits of your cell phone number. After putting it in, select ';on power-up.'; Meaning, if you turn your phone on, you have to put the pin on every time. Remember, your pin is the last 4 digits of your number. Look in the manual how to change it, or ask me. :)
Go to the menu and then into -Settings-. Next, go into security and there should be an application that allows you to lock certain things on your phone. You just have to search through the security options to find this application.
