Okay, the Coyotes just scored ot make it 4-3 Yotes... but, that was after Kopecky was BEAR HUGGED. Let's see... at first the game had some lee-way on some calls, so I was like hey, seems like a good reffed game... but there were some blatantly missed calls. Hank had a mini-breakway and get's held/hooked obviously and no call... I mean you can see his jersey being held back! Then Kopecky gets bearhugged to the ground, no call... and there was a play in the first period wear the ref missed a call and that was supposedly give Detroit a call to miss... but nooooooooooooooooo.... wow...





Yeah, I'm just venting against the refs.... again. But the Wings played a good game defensively and then some bad missed calls screw em up... REALLY?





So... I gues for a hockey question... Would you like to see a Winter Classic every year, or would you get sick of it if that happened? And where would you like to see the next Winter Classic?Guess what time it is, TIME FOR A MOOSE RANT (Question inside)?
I didn't read that all and I don't think I have to patience to read that all, but I have one thing to say....................it happens to the best of teams.





I mean just the other day whenever the Devils were playing the Penguins the Devils were way off sides.....I mean WAY off sides and they ended up scoring off of that. The refs counted it. It should've never happened because the refs should have called the offsides.





The most we can do is take a deep breath, relax and realize the refs really are trying. They may not seem like it, but honestly.....they're not out to get you. They just want to do their job and then go home.

I actually like the idea of a Winter Classic every year. I wasn't for one every year last season, but it gives me something to look forward too. I want to see the Penguins play the Flyers. It can anywhere for all I care, but for me, that match up would be all fun.

I have a hard time being mad at the refs when the Wings are playing like this. They are hanging Ozzy out to dry WAY too much. They are a lot more at fault than the refs for this game being as close as it is.





As for the Winter Classic, I would like to see it every other year. I dont want to see it become worn out, but I dont want to have to wait 4 years between them like many people do.

Anywho, yes I think that is the best thing the commissioner of hockey has ever allowed. It is a great thing and a real fun thing to watch. I would like to see the next one at the new Yankee stadium. There would definatley be a big crowd and I wouldn't miss a second of the action.
I'd like to see a Winter Classic in Montreal or Ottawa some time. You can count on it being winter there in January.





As for your rant Moose, I'm sure our lone Coyote fan regular might have a different viewpoint on the game.





Also: Don't count on a Lion win tomorrow. Peyton is going to shred the Lions D.
it seems like it would have been an amazing game to watch, however, I am at my dads house in Illinois right now so I couldn't see it.





I think that the Winter Classic would definitely lose its nostalgia after multiple years of it. I say that they should go once every three or four years.
Thank God I wasn't the only one who saw that. I mean - Kopecky had his FEET off the frigging ice sideways suspended in mid air. And that coincidental minor on Sammy? WTF?! Lots of hooks missed, too.





I'd love a Winter Classic every year. Next year would be cool in Montreal or Boston against the '09 SC Champs (unless, of course, it's one of them!)
Don't even get me started on all the BS that happened this game. Im just happy Franzen tied it and that we won the game!

Anyways, I'm cool with a yearly Winter Classic. My twist on it would be this, it has to always be hosted by an original Six team's city, so it really is a ';classic.'; Next year?

I listened on the radio and could even tell the same thing. Paul Woods really disagreed with the even penalties on Jovo and Sammy. He said Sammy shouldn't have gotten a penalty.
I didn't see the gm so I can't really give a good opinion
