Should Serena Williams be banned from the US Open for her racist rant?

I think she should be banned for at least one more year. Now she's trying to back track and say she wants to give the line ref a hug. Barf! hack choke! She makes me sick. I hate her attitude. Someone needs to just give her a beat down once or twice for a reality check. But then so does a lot of other ';stars'; like Kanye West...

As a reminder she said, ';I would kill you, you fat ugly ****!'; among other things. I guess people don't care much about sportsmanship anymore. Remember when Monica Seles was banned from Wimbledon just for not showing up because she was in the hospital and didn't notify them?Should Serena Williams be banned from the US Open for her racist rant?
While it is clear to see that Serena is just making this apology stuff up for her image, I'm positive that the US Open (or even the WTA) would ever ban her. Realize that she is a worldwide recognized tennis icon and without her the slams could lose a lot of revenue. Although I do think it would be better for the sport if she DIDN'T show up for a few slams...And she said ';I'm going to ******* shove this ******* tennis ball down your ******* throat'; I don't think she ever said ';I would kill you, you fat ugly ****!';
