Can i get sue for libel or other things if I post my rant of my previous landlord on Craigslist?

So, my previous landlord is a ******* cheat and is still holding my deposit. I think i'm gonna sue him. Now he's listing his apartments on craigslist, so if I post -- anonymously of course-- my rant and imply (nothing explicitly referring to his property of course) that I'm referring to his apartments, will I get sue or something? Sure, I expect my post to get taken out but at least I got read. Please stay on topic and don't tell me about how this is a P u ss-y/cheap method or what not. I am dumbfounded by how restricted the medium is to expose unethical landlords.

Well, I don't think it's illegal, but I couldn't swear to it. If it's your feelings and it's direct quotes and you can prove it, I don't think you can sue for libel. But if you don't have proof, it is possible you could be sued; he could claim you're out to destroy his name.
